The consumer's role in the transition to a new Energy system

In 2025, 50% of Denmark's electricity will come from wind energy. To be able to use energy efficiently, the Danish power consumption should be distributed evenly throughout the day. Therefore, it is relevant to examine how the Danish energy system can be made flexible so that it supports a production driven electricity consumption rather than a usage-driven production.

A project could therefore focus on the role of consumers in a new and flexible energy system, and the influence of consumer behavior on the creation of a successful energy system.
